In order for you to register with us, you must, at the minimum, provide us your name and e-mail address. If you are a school, we also require your credit card information, mailing address, telephone number and information about your school.

3. Non-Personal Information We Collect

We may collect information about you that is not personal information. When you access our website, we may collect such things as your IP address, browser, operating system, referring URL, and other general information about our visitors. This information, on its own, cannot usually be used to identify you.

4. Information Published by Schools

The schools who subscribe to our service are responsible for their own publications. You agree that we cannot be held liable for the information that the school collects or publishes using our service (we are additionally protected under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act). If you have any privacy concerns, you may address them to us and we will attempt to take action, but we recommend that you go to the source, which is the school.

5. Use of Information

We may use your information:

To process transactions.

To send e-mails about SchoolVine or respond to inquiries.

To send e-mails about SchoolVine, our other products, news, or updates.

To improve enhance or improve user experience, SchoolVine.com’s website, or our service.

6. Cookies

Stripe.com, which is a third party payment processor that we use to process your payment if you are a paid subscriber to our website.

We may disclose your information to a third party where we believe, in good faith, that it is desirable to do so for the purposes of a civil action, criminal investigation, or other legal matter. Like our Terms of Service, you must visit this page each time you come to our website and read and agree to it if the date it was last modified is more recent than the last time you agreed to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the new Privacy Policy, you must immediately cease using our service.
